What this actually is
WarningX is a siren, not a newsfeed. We don't send you a daily digest. We don't fill your inbox. Most of the time there is nothing to report at all — and that's the point.
When we're silent, that's the best sign.
You can see the current threat level anywhere, for free — on this site and in the WarningX app you can add to your phone. It sits quiet almost always. When it turns, everyone can see that something is wrong. What that something is, and what to do about it, is written in full on the members' warning page.
Behind it sits real work: continuous analysis of how AI is being turned against ordinary people — fraud, deepfakes, cloned voices, manufactured trust. When that work surfaces something you genuinely need to act on, the siren sounds and the warning goes up. Not before.

Membership gives you the full warning — what's happening, why it matters, and what to do — the moment it's posted, however many times a year that turns out to be.
No automatic renewal. When your year is up, we email you and you decide. Nothing renews behind your back. A service that warns you about hidden traps has no business laying one.
And if the day comes right at the edge of your term — the last days, or just after — we won't play gatekeeper with a warning that matters. In a real emergency we'd rather be too generous than too clever.
