WarningX — Terms of Membership,

1. What WarningX is
   WarningX is a paid annual membership operated by [operator / dudler.swiss], Tuggen, Switzerland. WarningX publishes a public threat level and, when we judge that AI-driven fraud, deepfakes, cloned-voice scams, or related deception is actively threatening the public, a full warning. Membership gives you access to the full warnings — what is happening, why it matters, and what to do — on the members' warning page. WarningX is an information service. It is not security software, insurance, or a guarantee of protection.
2. Membership and price
   Membership costs CHF 8 for one year from the date of purchase. Payment is processed by Stripe. Your membership gives you access, for that year, to the full detail of every warning we publish during it.
3. No automatic renewal
   Your membership does not renew automatically. Before your year ends we will email you so you can decide whether to continue. You are never charged again unless you actively choose to renew
4. Cancellation and refunds
   You can cancel at any time. Because the annual fee is small and covers access for the full year, we do not as a rule refund the remaining part of a term. If you believe your case is unfair, write to us and we will look at it in good faith.
5. How warnings work, and their limits
   The threat level and the date and headline of each warning are public. The full detail is for members. We publish a warning only when we believe something genuinely warrants one. Most of the time there is nothing to report, and that is the intended experience. We cannot promise to detect or warn about every threat, to be first, or to be right in every case. Warnings are our best-effort judgement based on our own analysis; how you act on them is your decision. WarningX is not liable for losses arising from threats we did not warn about, from the timing of a warning, or from actions you take or fail to take in response to one.
6. Fairness at the edge of a term
   If a genuine emergency warning falls in the last days of your membership, or shortly after it has lapsed, we will err on the side of still giving you access rather than treating the term as a hard cut-off. This is a goodwill practice, not a contractual entitlement.
7. Your email address and privacy
   We collect your email address to manage your membership and to send you the renewal notice. We do not sell, rent, or share your address with third parties for their own use. Payment data is handled by Stripe and is not stored by us. You can ask us to delete your address at any time; doing so ends your membership.
8. Changes
   We may update these terms or the service. If we make a material change, we will say so. Continued membership after a change means you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing law
   These terms are governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is [Lachen SZ / Schwyz], Switzerland, to the extent permitted by law.
